The erstwhile 'The Vegetable Vitamins Foods Company Pvt Ltd.', now known as VVF was founded by Godrej Pallonji Joshi in 1939 when he was just 17 in Bombay,India. During the early years, VVF manufactured vegetable ghee commonly known as 'Vanspati'. Since then, VVF has come a long way, from a small manufacturer it has grown into a global leader in the Chemicals and Personal Care Products segment.

Today, VVF has 4 main business verticals: Chemicals, Manufacturing, Consumer Products & Bulk Storage. Head quartered in Mumbai, India, VVF has an international presence across 3 continents.

Asia, North America & Europe. The company currently stands one of the largest manufacturer of Oleochemicals in India and one of the largest contract manufacturers of bar soaps in the world.
