In the 1950s, Dr. Felix Zandman discovered and developed the Bulk Metal® Foil resistors concept. In 1962, Dr Zandman set up Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., and saw the first production batch of Bulk Metal® Foil resistors roll out of the production doors. Bulk Metal® Foil’s precise and stable characteristics quickly evolved and resulted in many foil resistor variations. Vishay Intertechnology continued to expand, bringing more success and more development to the company. Building upon this success and using foresight, Vishay Intertechnology acquired three leading force sensor companies in 2002: Celtron, Sensortronics and Tedea-Huntleigh. In 2005, Revere was acquired. In 2008, these four acquisitions became the foundation for the birth of the force sensor division called VPG Transducers. The unification of the four brands under VPG Transducers immediately created one of the largest load cell and transducer manufacturers in the world. Today, VPG Transducers continues to reach out to the world with its innovative and quality products. VPG Transducers provides the performance, precision and expertise that only one of the largest load cell and transducer manufacturers worldwide can deliver. Tedea-Huntleigh, Sensortronics, Revere and Celtron – brands recognized as high-quality suppliers of weighing and force measurement products for decades – are united under VPG Transducers to bring demanding customers a wide range of solutions and dedication to uncompromising quality. Our distributor for Poland, Simex, attended the Automaticon Tradeshow in Warsaw. At the tradeshow, they demonstrated our S Series Silo Weighing System and W Series Weight Indicators to potential customers using demo-kits supplied by VPG Transducers, which received a very high interest. Our team had a great time and we look forward to attending again next year! W Series S Series products We recently had a training event with our VPG Transducers staff in Basingstoke over the course of two days. We were shown the latest equipment and multiple products including the new S Series Silo Weighing System and W Series Weight Indicators. The demo units seen in the picture were just a few of the many demonstrations we were shown. We all thoroughly enjoyed seeing our technology at work!
