Through vFinance Investments and other subsidiaries, the holding company offers venture capital, brokerage, and investment banking services to some 12,000 institutional and wealthy private clients. Its vFinance.com Web site connects growing businesses and potential investors, while its EquityStation unit provides trading technology and services to professional traders, hedge funds, and other institutional clients. vFinance is also a market maker for some 2,500 over-the-counter (OTC) and NASDAQ small- and micro-cap stocks. National Holdings acquired vFinance in 2008, but the company continues to operate separately.
