Euphoria (Annual Meet) Putting on an event takes many efforts; all of this is worth it when the team comes together. Euphoria - the annual event at SUROJ is the celebration for the entire team whose hard work and dedication have helped the company reach greater heights of success. The event brought our people together from across 12 locations and gifted us with a terrific start to the current year. Multiple rounds of performances, award distributions, and great speeches were the evening’s main highlights, which indeed made the event a successful one. SCL (SUROJ Cricket League) Sports have always been the best way to bring more energy to the team. SUROJ Cricket League is one such sports activity organized to let our employees take some time out of their busy schedules and add some fun to their regular lives. Through SCL, teams from multiple departments build a rapport with each other which in turn helps in better interaction at work and enhanced productivity. Festival Celebration We at SUROJ celebrated Ganesha Chaturthi at our ongoing project sites and office premises, with utter exuberance. We brought Lord Ganesha's idol with immense pleasure and excitement and dedicated a couple of days to the much-awaited festival of the year. Celebrations were made even more enthusiastic with everyone's kind participation in multiple fun activities and exciting game sessions. Modaks, gujias, and varieties of sweets altogether ensured a warm and lively jollification until the festival's final ritual, the idol's immersion. Team Awards We believe in acknowledging every individual’s efforts leading to the company’s growth and success. One such event is dedicated to boosting our team efforts with rewards and recognitions. Every year we organize this event where our employees participate in activities, present their talents, and are rewarded for their constant efforts to make the company more successful. It’s a day that motivates our staff to perform even better in the coming years. Fire Day Training The Bombay explosion (or Bombay docks explosion) occurred on 14 April 1944, in the Victoria Dock of Bombay, British India (now Mumbai, India) when the British freighter SS Fort Stikine, carrying a mixed cargo of cotton bales, timber, oil, gold, and ammunition including around 1,400 tons of explosives with an additional 240 tons of torpedoes and weapons, caught fire and was destroyed in two giant blasts, scattering debris, sinking surrounding ships and setting fire to the area, killing around 800 to 1,300 people. Some 80,000 people were made homeless and 71 firemen lost their lives in the aftermath. Therefore The Fire Service Week (FSW) is observed nation-wide under the guidance of the Fire Adviser, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India during April 14 – 20. This is in remembrance of the lives lost in the devastating fire that erupted and the explosions that followed on 14th April, 1944 at the Victoria Dock in the Mumbai Port and also to prevent fire in all industries.

As a part of our CSR activities, we have played our bit by launching 'Save Farmer Save Nation Campaign,' 'Cancer Awareness and Motivational Workshop,' 'Mobile Toilet Facilities for all Varkaris,' 'Crèche' for Small Children of Construction Workers at the site,' 'Tree Plantation Drive; Planting over 410 Samplings across all our sites in India', 'Blood Donation Drive; Raising awareness about how it can help save a million of lives’ and many more. With every such step, we get a better understanding of our society and its problems. This understanding then serves as a ladder to bringing another positive change in our social surroundings.
