SRS Technology

SRS Technology wants to make it easy for the people who have it the hardest. SRS Technology Group develops and sells a range of personal electronic environmental control gadgets under the names SRS Intellec and SRS Lite; its primary customers are disabled and elderly consumers. The units, which use infrared and radio signals, help disabled users to perform everyday functions such as turning on household lights, making telephone calls, answering the door, and controlling the TV, through the use of joysticks or even eyeblinks. SRS Technology was founded by John Shermer in 1991 when he developed software and hardware to help disabled people gain access to computers.
