Reliance NU Suntech Pvt Ltd receives LoA from SECI for solar and BESS projects
- Reliance NU Suntech Pvt Ltd has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
- The company has won a 930 MW solar energy contract with a battery energy storage system project.
- The project includes a minimum storage capacity of 465 MW/1,860 MWh charged by solar power.
- Reliance NU Suntech will develop the project on a build-own-operate basis for a period of 25 years.

- Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has sent a legal notice to Andhrajyothy publication demanding an apology for spreading defamatory and false reports about him.
- The notice rejects the claims as false and accuses the newspaper of spreading malicious information about Reddy.
- The notice clarifies that the power purchase agreement was an arrangement among the Andhra Pradesh government, DISCOMs, and the Solar Energy Corporation of India, with no third party involved.
- Reddy has called for an unconditional apology to be prominently published on the front page of the newspaper.

SECI Invites Bids For 400 MWp Solar Module Manufacturing And Supply
- SECI has invited bids for manufacturing and supply of 400 MWp of solar modules with cells.
- The tender also includes testing, packing, and transportation of domestically manufactured solar PV modules with cells.
- The last date to submit online bids is December 12 till 2 pm.
- A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled on November 20.
