Rowan Companies is a global provider of offshore contract drilling services, founded more than 90 years ago on the principle that “people are more important than machines and tools.” We are focused on three priorities: highest customer satisfaction, strong financial returns, and making this the best place to work in our industry.
We are a market leader with one of the youngest fleets in our industry, including four ultra-deepwater drillships, two of which are currently under construction, and 30 jack-up rigs, 19 of which are high-specification. With operation centers around the world, Rowan stands at the frontier of global hydrocarbon exploration. Our current backlog of work extends into 2017 and our fleet remains one of the most utilized in the industry.
