Rajendra & Co. was established in the year 1951 under the name of J.R. Shah & Co. Mr. J R Shah was one of the better-known tax consultants in Bombay and in fact, even spent a part of his career being a tax assessment officer.His son Rajendra Shah completed his Chartered Accountancy in 1965 and set up Rajendra & Co.- as an audit firm It is now almost 40 years since the set-up of Rajendra & Co.The firm has grown since them and now has five partners, nine other professionals and currently, has staff strength of about 60 people.Rajendra & Co. are auditors to India's largest private-sector company and one of the Global Fortune 500 companies, that is consistently ranked in the top 5 in each category of products they deal.Rajendra & Co. also renders corporate direct taxation advice to multinational firms and several public listed companies.Rajendra & Co. has audits of about 15% in terms of export sales of the total cut and polished diamonds industry in India.Rajendra & Co. is an independent member firm of Primeglobal - one of the worls largest association of independent accounting firms and business advisors.Primeglobal does not and cannot offer any direct professional service to clients.
