Since the beginning of time, or at least since the 20th century, Primoris has played a part in the evolution of the utility and infrastructure landscape. Through subsidiaries, the company provides construction, engineering, and maintenance services such as replacing and repairing underground pipelines, upgrading and maintaining industrial plants, designing and building concrete structures, and managing the construction of water and wastewater facilities. It also engineers industrial machinery used in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and other facilities. Primoris' clients have included Duke Energy, Chevron, Sempra, and Kinder Morgan, as well as public sector entities.
