Pratap Tex-Chem was established in 1979 as a textile manufacturing company in Mumbai. It became a private limited company in 1999 to manufacture industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids. The company diversified into several other industries, including automotive lubricants and hygiene products. In 2015, it founded Fluidmate to produce industrial oil skimmers and fluid management equipment. With Safekar, established in 2020, the company began producing hygiene products, and with Krushagra, formed in 2021, it started manufacturing organic bio-nutrients for farms.
