Founded in 1919, Otto Bock is a Germany-based company owned by the Naeder family and the Private Equity Company EQT, which designs, develops and sells medical technology products and fitting solutions for people with limited mobility in the areas of prosthetics, orthotics, human mobility (wheelchairs, rehab solutions) and patient care.
Today, Ottobock is the clear market leader in technical orthopedics and prosthetics with more than 6,700 employees worldwide (all numbers 2016). With a global network of 56 sales and service locations and export contacts in 140 countries around the world as well as more than 200 own patient care workshops we have a truly global presence.
