Dear Ex-Employee, This feedback is most unacceptable and intended to cause willful disrepute to the organization. Sweeping remarks and casting aspersions against our trusted and valued employees is not acceptable to us. You have gone to the extent of making false and disparaging remarks at people who you have worked with. We urge you to write to us and voice your concerns rather than venting your misguided grudges on a public platform. This certainly does not appear to be in a good and positive spirit. Rather, such a feedback is unwarranted, unreasonable and is in the nature of a libelous statement and may attract legal consequences. Our organization is predicated on a strong value system. We are a diverse and inclusive workplace and believe in equality and equity. As a creative company, we are progressive in our policies and believe in cultivating diverse talent, developing an engaged workforce, leveraging unique experiences and perspectives, and sparking innovation through collaboration. We endeavor to make our employees feel valued members of the team. However, at times certain policies and practices may not cater to an individual’s interest or benefit. It is because circumstances and situations are not equal for all. In such times, it is urged that the concerned employee like yourself communicates its concerns to the reporting manager or the HR team and work out a solution, collaboratively. We would like to reiterate that our policies are not biased towards any particular employee. The management has exemplified in action and conduct time and again that employee well-being and fostering a fair environment for our employees is a top priority for the organization. Regarding the other aspects of your feedback, we would like you to know, that we have zero-tolerance towards any kind of “politics”. We don’t encourage it and don’t stand by it. It is also imperative to state that these statement are unsubstantiated. Yes, there can be some level of human conflict at work owing to the fact that all people bring their personal emotions, needs, ambitions, and insecurities into their professional lives. Sometimes, this may lead to disagreement or people may not see eye to eye. A quick suggestion - look beyond your immediate team, and cross the formal hierarchy in all directions – co-workers, managers and executives, get to know them, and build high-quality connection at workplace. At Lucky Nugget Gaming, we have a well-structured and streamlined performance review mechanism, a periodic process that assesses an individual employee’s job performance and productivity in relation to certain pre-established criteria and organizational objectives. Other aspects of individual employees are considered as well, such as organizational citizenship behavior, accomplishments, potential for future improvement, strengths and weaknesses. In case of under performers a detailed improvement program is discussed and agreed to help them improve and perform. Despite all efforts, employees may not perform at the expected level and in such situations appropriate actions are undertaken. Of course legal or disciplinary violations demand instant and critical actions and such cases are treated differently. As parting advice, we would like to say that, at times we set mental boundaries and barriers to what can be learned and achieved. This places a limiting filter and prevents us from leveraging the opportunities accessible in our environment. By changing our attitude and being open to new experiences, we can find new areas of interest that are both challenging and exciting.
