K S Knitfabs is an export house in Gurgaon. It's a small team of 4-5 merchandisers and 4-5 designers. The good thing is the team is young and energetic. They provide cab facility to women workers. The salary is credited before 10th. They even celebrate employees birthday.

Dislikes

KS Knitfabs runs like a family business. The owner is the head of design, accounts, HR and merchandising department. They clearly do not provide training. The day you join you are expected to work. You can be called in anyday as long as the work demands. The HR is a mere puppet. There is no accounts department. The owner and family handles the hiring, firing and salary of the employees. There is no appraisal policy. It depends on the owners liking for you. You can not expect a career growth in this organisation as nobody in the organisation has the basic technical knowledge about the apparel industry. You need to brush up on the basics on your own so that if you switch you can get past the job interviews of other organisations. In this company you are hired just to be the hand and not the mind as well. Don't forget to take your monthly salary slips too cause they don't give it on their own....Read More

I worked as a merchandiser in this company. Though the roles and responsibilities of a merchandiser are vast but as already mentioned here you are just the hand. Meaning you have to do only the running around work.They don't let you do the costing as well

Work days: Alternate Saturday off (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
