Dislikes

The salary is not as good as other PSUs in the neighbourhood of Haldia. Job appraisal needs to be done more sincerely for proper motivation. Being an eastern Indian port,politics is pretty predominant.

The company is open for their customers / users who caters their products / goods from one place to another. KoPT/ HDC is an organisation that handles approx 20 MT of cargo every year. Another plus point is that this is the only riverine port in India. There are plus points like; staffs and officers are from different states of India with different culture and colleagues were helpful to each other. There are separate rules in the same organisation according to their departments. There are high deficit in the strength of employee and work pressure is very high.
