Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited is a Joint Sector Company of Government of India with 59.17% of shareholding and 40.83% from Government of Karnataka through Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC).
From a modest beginning in 1984, KAPL has grown exponentially in the areas of manufacturing and marketing of various life saving and essential drugs.
KAPL is a WHO-GMP certified organization and with the ISO accreditation, KAPL has been recognized for the total commitment to quality and services to cater domestic and international markets.
KAPL has been a profit making organization from inception, KAPL facilities has been approved by many International countries for the supply of Pharmaceutical products.
The major divisions of KAPL are, Manufacturing, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, Human Resources, Research and Development, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. All these divisions together ensure quality drug products and services are provided to the customers both in domestic as well as international markets.
