JinkoSolar’s patent lawsuit against Longi extends to Japan
- JinkoSolar has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Longi, accusing the company of using undisclosed solar cell technology in Japan.
- This is the second legal action that JinkoSolar has taken against Longi this year, with the previous lawsuit filed in China.
- The lawsuit was filed by JinkoSolar's Japanese unit, Shangrao Xinyuan Yuedong Technology Development Co., Ltd, at Japan's Tokyo District Court.

Powerhouse installs off-grid solar for remote EV charger in Australia
- Powerhouse installs a 60 kVA off-grid solar array in northern Australia to power a remote EV charger
- The installation is part of the 7,000 km WAEV Network project, aiming to roll out 110 EV chargers across Western Australia
- The solar array features JinkoSolar panels, SMA and Victron inverters, and can supply a 50 kW EV charger
- Powerhouse has also commissioned another EV charger for the WAEV Network, bringing their total to 12 chargers

JinkoSolar’s TOPCon modules offer 8.82% yield gain in Japan field test
- JinkoSolar's n-type TOPCon modules have been found to deliver significantly higher energy yield per watt compared to n-type BC modules during a three-month field test.
- The field test conducted in Kagoshima, Japan, showed that JinkoSolar's TOPCon modules generated an average of 8.82% more energy per watt than the competitor's modules.
- The study also revealed that JinkoSolar's TOPCon modules performed well under low-irradiance rainy weather and high-irradiance sunny weather, showcasing their excellent low-light performance and high bifaciality coefficient.
- The performance ratio (PR) of JinkoSolar's TOPCon modules was measured at 97.8% compared to 89.9% for the competitor's n-type BC modules, further highlighting the higher energy yield efficiency of TOPCon modules.
