HMD Aura² silently announced
- HMD silently announced the Aura², a repurposed HMD Arc with expanded storage to 256GB.
- The device will be available in Australia from March 13 for AUD 169 ($106).

- Samsung Galaxy S25 series is officially on sale, offering new incentives after the pre-orders. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with a $200 gift card, and the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S25 gets a $100 gift card. The Samsung Galaxy S25+ base 256GB model comes with a $100 gift card, making its effective price $900. However, the 512GB model is $100 off and it gets a $50 gift card. Samsung's biggest advantage right now is in the software, promise of 7 years of software support, and One UI 7 was received very well. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will get all of these things, and the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G will also get One UI 7 which is cheaper with a cut-down version software. The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro can be grabbed with a $50 discount. Apple Inc. has seen a lot of iPhone 13 sales after it released in September. Ongoing shortages provide an unexpected competitive edge in risking getting inadequate or subpar devices.
- The OnePlus 12R for $400, comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the OnePlus 13R is priced at $600 and comes with a $100 gift card. Android makers dislike the magnetic aspect of the QI2 but HMD Skyline is the first phone to implement the magnetic profile. The HMD Skyline's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is on the slower side and the two software updates don't go far. Ease of repair might appeal to some who didn't quite like the Fairphone.
