In the Export-M department, favoritism by HODs is prevalent, often influenced by factors such as caste, prior associations with colleagues from previous companies, neighborhoods, or personal connections. Salary structures are inconsistent, failing to align with employees' designations and experience levels. Leadership at the plant level is marked by inefficiency, poor decision-making, and ineffective time management. Employees are frequently required to stay beyond standard working hours without justifiable reasons. HODs lack technical expertise and often shift the blame for their shortcomings onto their subordinates. Morning meetings are used as a platform for harassment and disrespect toward employees rather than constructive discussions.
