I was posted in Dalmia Lanka Plant, Assam. Was very bad experience in my life. People had to work a minimum of 14 hours to 24 hours (specifically in the Mechanical department) without overtime pay. Labour laws are not followed here. There is very toxic work culture, heavy workload, and poor management. Here Rest day comes after 7 days. People glorify this type of work culture there. Mechanical HOD is not professional; his behavior is also unprofessional. Engineers frequently resign from the Mechanical Department due to the reasons mentioned above.
