Clonz Biotech is a biopharmaceutical company focusing on developing human therapeutic biosimilar MAbs. Its products are developed on Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) based Mammalian platform using recombinant DNA technology. The process is developed in-house with the proprietary DNA Vectors having novel genetic elements in-licensed from a Swiss company. DSIR (Govt.of India) recognised its R&D unit with fully integrated mammalian platform to develop Biosimilar MAbs. Its lead biosimilar is CLONZAb for treating lymphoma, leukemia and RA is in pre-clinical studies. Additionally, it has other 5 biosimilar MAbs in the pipeline for treating multiple cancers, wet AMD, psoriasis and Osteoporosis. It has received funding from DBT that has boosted its research efforts to find a low-cost treatment option for wet AMD.
