some department's work culture is extremely horrible especially the former HOD of Machine Learning department Dr. Gowrishankar was a pathetic person, lacking leadership and basic human qualities completely dependent on junior employees for department's progress. Very unpleasant experience working under him as he was very much pessimistic, criticizing and insulting fellow colleagues for silly mistakes. college authorities should think of capable people at such positions over seniority and favoritism. Ideal HOD should be thinking about employee's welfare and that just does not include salary and promotions but also respect, acceptance and equality in offering opportunities to employees but unfortunately this man was equally bad in his approach of tacking problems and was never cooperative . lot of partiality and linguistic discrimination which he always demonstrated. He claims to be masters of AIML but that should be clearly exhibited blabbering random stuff will not work . one advice: stop blaming employees take initiative and charge as a leader and dont pass loose comments and demoralise people who are working under you...Read More
