I have been working in Amar Equipment Pvt Ltd from last 6 Months and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I joined Amar Equipment Pvt. Ltd. as a Junior Design Engineer, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The company has a high attrition rate—the longest-serving member in the Design Team has been there for only three years, despite the company being 30-40 years old. Major Issues: 1. Toxic Work Culture: No fixed working hours—“You have a fixed time to come, but no fixed time to leave.” Frequent mandatory weekend work and excessive overtime. Concerns about workload and work-life balance were dismissed by both team leaders and upper management. 2. Unfair Team Allocation & Leadership: I was placed in the Standard Team, which consisted of graduate engineers doing copy-paste work instead of meaningful design tasks. The graduate engineers’ team was led by a rude diploma holder, whose leadership style was unprofessional and disrespectful. 3. Unfair Salary & Overtime Policies: Lost Hours Deduction: If an employee steps out of the office for even 10-15 minutes due to a necessary reason, it is considered "lost hours," and salary is deducted accordingly. Unpaid Overtime: The first 59 minutes of overtime is unpaid, and beyond that, only 50% of hourly pay is given. Forced Overtime & Weekend Work: Employees do not have a choice—they are required to work extra hours and weekends as per management’s demands. 4. No PF Facility: The company does not provide Provident Fund (PF) benefits, which is a basic entitlement for employees in most organizations.
