Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable initiatives.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit business requirements.
- Define, document, and validate detailed business and functional requirements using techniques such as process modeling, use cases, and user stories.
- Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support proposed projects and initiatives.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for optimization.
- Drive process re-engineering efforts using Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies.
- Act as a change agent by facilitating smooth transitions from current state to future state processes.
- Leverage data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to extract insights and inform business decisions.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs, metrics, and project performance.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on trend analysis and predictive modeling.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in system integration and deployment activities.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Define and enforce best practices in business analysis and project documentation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to drive business success.
- Manage conflicts and expectations effectively to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including wireframing, prototyping, and requirements traceability.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of system architecture and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience with databases, SQL, and querying tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing business environments.
Education & Certifications :
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMP, or Agile/Scrum are highly desirable.
Experience :
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or senior analyst role.
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business transformation initiatives.
