In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the successful implementation of the service sales strategy for the assigned area. Each day, you will ensure the profitable achievement of qualitative and quantitative targets related to Life Cycle Management (LCM) and service products and solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by determining account and acquisition plans to support growth.
The working model for the role is #LI - onsite.
This role contributes to the Process Automation in Measurement & Analytics in India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning, and implementing service sales strategies by increasing the Installed Base (IB) penetration through effectively utilising the IB database.
- Participating in negotiations of major contracts to secure service sales volume.
- Ensuring the setting, periodic review, and achievement of service sales targets by providing cost-effective solutions to the customers and initiating improvement plans as needed
- Obtaining feedback on sales development, distributing of resources for service sales activities, and reporting current market status.
- Contributes to developing the Business Line Service strategy and drives its execution.
- Supports the development of product/ system service strategies with the local Business Line Service organizations.
- Leads the development of in-depth Asia market knowledge and ensures acquired information is shared with the local Business Line for their use.
- Collaborates closely with Sales Manager peers to support their sales organization to actively promote our service offering at the point of product sale.
- Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Qualifications for the role:
- You enjoy working with instrumentation service sales strategy, service growth, customer approach, and operational excellence in any market.
- You have over 15 years of experience in field instrumentation (flow, temperature, level, etc.) service sales.
- You are passionate about customer approach, operational excellence, and people leadership and development.
- You hold an engineering degree in instrumentation, electrical, or electronics.
- You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
