Software Engineer/Specialist - Oracle R12/EBS Modules (8-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Requires candidate to enhance and maintain the current system of Oracle Database and R12 Ebiz suite. Candidate needs to work independently with minimum supervision and be a self-starter.

This role directly reports to the Senior Manager, of the Oracle System. The candidate needs to collaborate with other IT teams(functional and technical teams) on a day-to-day basis for the resolution of any issue or system enhancement and to ensure the stability, reliability, and security of the database and EBS environment.

Responsibilities :

- Oracle Database installation, configuration, and maintenance for other applications like Agile, SOA, OID, incort, and vertex.

- Installation, configuration, and deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1 and R12.2 versions.

- Work with developers and users to migrate objects and code between non-production and production databases.

- Responsible for cloning non-production EBS instances and core database.

- Troubleshoot and help resolve Oracle Workflow issues.

- Effective troubleshooting of EBS and database performance issues.

- Apply patches to the EBS application and database.

- Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.

- Perform database recoveries.

- Develop operating system scripts to automate backups, data transfers, monitoring, etc.

Requirements :

- Good working experience and understanding of Web logic Applications R12.2

- Good working experience and understanding of CDB and PDB models.

- Experience in applying application patches using ADOP.

- Experience in administering concurrent managers and setting up PCP (parallel concurrent processing).

- Must have strong experience in Oracle Core concepts (RMAN, Dataguard, Datapump, Performance tunning).

- Must have strong experience in Oracle EBS concepts(R12.1 and R12.2).

- Must have strong experience in web logic concepts.

- Must have extensive knowledge of administering Oracle databases in a LINUX environment.

- Have a good working experience in Oracle Core DBA Architecture, Backups/Recovery, and Performance tuning exercises.

- Have a good knowledge of OCI concept to manage DB rman backup and EBS filesystem backup and recovery.

- OEM monitoring experience configurations and support.

- UNIX/LINUX scripting knowledge is important.

- Thorough knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

- Bachelor's degree.

Good to have :

- Excellent troubleshooting skills especially on Fusion Middleware(SOA) and OID.

- Ability to work and manage OCI services.

- Strong communication skills.
