Position Title: Zonal Business Manager (ZBM) IVF Division
Department: Sales & Marketing
Location:Mumbai / Delhi / Kolkatta / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai / Ahmedabad
Reports To: Business Head

Position Summary:

The Zonal Business Manager (ZBM) for the IVF Division will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and business development of BDR Pharmaceuticals' IVF formulations within the assigned zone. The individual will be responsible for building a strong, high-performing sales team, establishing the division's presence in the zone, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives through effective strategies and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a zonal sales strategy aligned with organizational goals and the division's growth plans.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for IVF formulations in the assigned zone.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including expansion into untapped territories.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team within the zone.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results-oriented performance.

Market Penetration and Brand Building:

  • Drive market penetration and enhance the visibility of BDR Pharmaceuticals' IVF products in the zone.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including gynecologists, IVF specialists, and healthcare institutions.
  • Execute promotional campaigns and marketing strategies to increase product awareness and adoption.

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor sales operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently to optimize results.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis to senior management.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and events.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and distribution teams to ensure product availability across the zone.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3-5 years in a ZBM or equivalent role in the IVF or fertility segment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in team building and leadership, preferably in the IVF or women’s health domain.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of the IVF market, including customer needs and competitive landscape.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of zonal sales targets and business objectives.
  • Expansion of market share and customer base in the IVF segment.
  • Performance and retention of the zonal sales team.
  • Effective execution of marketing and promotional strategies.
