JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: SDE 1 (Backend)
Location: Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-Time
As an SDE 1 - Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance applications. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are excited about tackling backend engineering challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Optimize performance and scalability of applications.
- Ensure high security, reliability, and robustness in backend services.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Python, Java, Node.js, Go, etc.).
- Solid understanding of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
