Job Description
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
- Oversee multiple project teams globally, ensuring program goals are reached.
- Manage scope, budget and resources.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing.
- Manage program and project teams and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of Product development life cycle
- Agile and Waterfall Project Management
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
- Experience in managing stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of mechatronics system, ASPICE & functional safety necessary
- Working knowledge of industry standards ISO/TS 16949, manufacturing processes, PPAP and sourcing processes necessary.
- Excellent skills in MS Office and MS Project
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics engineering
- 6-8 years of proven work experience as a Program Manager /Project Manager in automotive industry
- PMP certification is a strong advantage.
