Job role: Research Analyst
Location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
- Source, update, validate, analyze, and visualize commercial real estate market data, including properties, leases, tenants, availability, developments, sales, and owners, across various property and industry sectors, using online research, telephone inquiries, and automated processes.
- Develop comprehensive presentations, reports, and dashboards using advanced Excel and GIS tools, offering insights into project progress and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders such as brokers, REITs, investors, and commercial real estate companies to verify data and uphold high-quality standards.
- Input property data into the Research Console with a focus on accuracy and consistency, conducting regular audits to ensure high data quality.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for commercial properties, including asset performance, investment returns, and operational efficiency.
- Offer data-driven recommendations to enhance property performance and align with business objectives.
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with research teams across various markets to enhance market understanding.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, shifts, and emerging opportunities in the commercial real estate sector, delivering customized data insights and analyses that support strategic decision-making, business expansion, and collaborative initiatives across diverse markets and geographies.
- Leverage GIS expertise for spatial analysis, contributing to comprehensive market reports and master plans.
- Effectively manage and prioritize tasks to ensure goals are achieved promptly and efficiently.
- Contribute to the development of financial models and forecasts by integrating real estate data to analyze potential returns and associated risks.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in data collection, storage, and reporting processes.
- Facilitate ongoing training and support for junior team members and colleagues to enhance their data management and analysis skills.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data onboarding, curation, or commercial real estate.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, GIS software (ArcGIS, AutoCAD), and data analysis tools.
- Proficient in efficiently sourcing key data points for property updates online, with strong typing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret city and street maps to conduct detailed urban planning using real estate data.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team to build strong relationships and engage effectively with business partners and clients.
- Skilled in multitasking, thriving under pressure, and effectively prioritizing tasks to manage time and workload.
- Committed to delivering exceptional client service, with a proactive approach to embracing new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities with an attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Alteryx Tool and Power BI is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation and organization skills with strong work ethic, commitment and teamwork.
Education: Bachelors or Masters from premier Institutes preferred.
