Join ZeroNorth s Customer Onboarding team as a Project Engineer and take the lead on IIoT projects from start to finish. You ll handle planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to deliver solutions that make a real impact for our customers.

You ll work closely with a skilled 16-member team, reporting to the Project Manager, in a fast-paced SaaS scale-up environment where collaboration and innovation are key. This is a hands-on role where you can drive meaningful change and grow with us.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IIoT projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to determine project viability and identify potential risks.

• Develop and manage the installation project scope, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.

• Cross functional collaboration with Internal teams on Data flow check and Data mapping.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and critical issues simultaneously.

• Define and implement project methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches and manage vendors and subcontractors for equipment, software, and services.

• Oversee technical teams, including electrical, software, and mechanical engineers and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.

• Manage project risks and proactively identify and mitigate potential issues and track project progress against established metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment and stay up-to-date on the latest IIoT technologies and their application in projects.

• BE/ B. Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Marine or Equivalent Branches.

• Minimum of 3 years+ of hands-on experience in the Electronics field, preferably in field exp with working knowledge on various industrial instruments & communication protocols such as Modus, Profibus, Fieldbus, DeviceNet, Serial, OPC, BACNet IP, etc.

• Knowledge of various Industrial Instrumentation aspects and Common industrial assets such as Motors, Compressors, Steam and Gas Turbines, Blowers etc. but not limited to Sensors, PLC, Actuators.

• Basic understanding of IOT technologies and hardware installation & commissioning of IIOT equipments and networking devices and understanding of electrical circuits, electrical system processing, communication.

• Good understanding of provide leadership in knowledge transfer and implementation of approved standards and practices for IT/OT systems, including network implementation, PLC s and field devices, and IT systems.

• Concrete understanding of industrial control systems such as PLC and SCADA/DCS.

• Strong written and verbal communication, including documentation standards.

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with electrical and controls systems and associated programming.
