Lead DevOps Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer dedicated to innovating and streamlining IT infrastructure and delivery processes. This role is pivotal in enhancing our operations capabilities and service offerings, focusing on increased autonomy through the use of public cloud platforms and cutting-edge open-source technologies.

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & implement automation for infrastructure setup, scaling, and management.

• Leverage AWS services to enhance and optimize our service delivery.

• Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Chef, or Salt to maintain and scale our infrastructure efficiently.

• Develop robust scripting solutions in Python or Groovy, to automate tasks & processes.

• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., DataDog, Dynatrace, Splunk).

• Design, setup, and manage CI/CD pipelines, incorporating containerization technologies.

• Oversee architecture design, capacity planning, performance tuning, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

• Prepare operational documentation for application support and Disaster Recovery.

• Manage software version control and adhere to change management practices.

• Provide rotational on-call support as required.

What We're Looking For:

• A Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering.

• Over 4+ years of IT application infrastructure and operations experience, with a strong emphasis on AWS, automation, and DevOps practices.

• Proficiency in configuration management tools, with a preference for Ansible.

• Expert knowledge in infra-automation and management tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer).

• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, or Groovy.

• Experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, Dynatrace, Splunk) is desirable.

• Solid experience with container technologies and CI/CD pipeline configurations.

• Expertise in architecture design, capacity planning, performance tuning, and operational support in a high-availability enterprise environment.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
