About this role :
We are building our marketing team and looking for folks excited to get their hands dirty in a 0 to 1 journey. If you are expecting a working playbook that you can scale, Zenskar is probably not the right fit for you at this point. However, if you are excited about creating the playbook from scratch, we would love to hear from you.
You will partner with our product, tech, sales, and design teams to build, launch, and drive the adoption of Zenskar. You'll need to possess a strong drive, take ownership of your work, and have an insatiable desire to take action and make things happen.
We are looking for a "full-stack" product marketer to lead and execute Zenskar's marketing goals. If you have the bandwidth, we would love for you to get involved with content marketing, growth marketing, brand marketing efforts, and product marketing.
Your responsibility won't be limited to but will include the following:
- Develop a deep understanding of the user and their pain points. Learn about various aspects of our product, its features, and the value proposition.
- This would include conducting primary research to gather data, insights, and information from internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop product messaging and positioning that sets us apart from competitors and demonstrates an understanding of our customers' needs.
- Create and optimize various forms of product marketing collateral, constantly keeping in mind our ICP and buyer persona.
- Develop and optimize website content covering product features, benefits, and value propositions, ensuring alignment with the buyer's journey and enhancing user engagement and conversion rates.
- Conduct competitive analysis and create comparison pages, battle cards, and other sales collaterals to better equip the sales team for competitive conversations.
- Develop video scripts and collaborate with video editors/designers to produce engaging videos, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and target audience.
- (Engineering as Marketing) Create practical, accessible tools or resources (e.g., calculators, templates, extensions) to attract and engage the target audience, generate leads, and establish authority in the industry.
- Create design briefs for product illustrations, collaborating with designers to visually communicate key features and benefits in line with the product's messaging and target audience.
- Product Newsletter- Own product updates and newsletters to keep the pipeline informed of the latest developments, new features, and improvements.
- Write compelling case studies that showcase the product's impact and align with key messaging to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Create and manage product marketing blogs that educate and engage the target audience, emphasizing product benefits, industry insights, and customer pain points to drive awareness and lead generation.
Educate internal and external stakeholders on product features and benefits.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including messaging and content creation for product and feature launches, while optimizing for revenue, win rates, product launch metrics (trials/demos, content views, website traffic), organic lead generation, and customer adoption.
Outside Product Marketing:
- Develop and implement influencer marketing strategies.
- Organize impactful webinars and offline events.
- Forge strategic partnerships to expand Zenskar's market presence and generate high-quality leads.
- Lead organic review campaigns on G2/Capterra/Gartner Peer Network.
