Data Scientist (Intermediate Level:Generative AI)

About The Role :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to help develop AI solutions, including RAG pipelines, fine-tuning LLMs, and building recommender systems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and AWS, with a passion for solving complex problems.

Roles and Responsibilities 1. Generative AI and RAG Integration

Assist in implementing RAG pipelines to enhance generative AI systems with real-time, context-aware data retrieval.

Support the fine-tuning of large language models (LLMs) like Anthropic Claude or OpenAI GPT to meet specific business use cases.

Collaborate on building conversational AI systems that deliver dynamic and accurate responses.

2. Recommendation Systems and Next-Best-Action Models

Support the development of recommendation engines using collaborative filtering , content-based filtering , and hybrid techniques .

Assist in building rules-based next-best-action models that leverage behavioral data and RAG methodologies for improved decision-making.

3. Data Science and Analysis

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and patterns in structured and unstructured datasets.

Use machine learning techniques to train and evaluate models for recommendations and decision optimization.

Work with data pipelines in AWS environments to preprocess and manage datasets for AI models.

4. RAG and Embedding-Based Search

Learn and apply vector embedding techniques for retrieval systems, contributing to scalable solutions using databases like DynamoDB with Aurora .

Assist in implementing embedding-based search for AI-driven contextual recommendations.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in data science or machine learning.

Exposure to LLMs (e.g., Anthropic Claude , OpenAI GPT) and retrieval-based AI methods.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, DynamoDB, or Aurora.

Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in machine learning libraries like Scikit-learn , TensorFlow , or PyTorch .

Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts and embedding-based systems.

Plus to Have

Experience with recommendation systems or conversational AI.

Basic understanding of MLOps principles and production AI workflows.
