 About The Role ::  Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Engineer with extensive experience in managing and maintaining data protection platforms such as Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, availability, and integrity of critical data assets within the organization.

 Key Responsibilities: 

Manage and maintain data protection platforms including Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA to uphold data security best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data protection requirements and implement effective solutions.

Monitor performance and availability of data protection systems using tools like New Relic to proactively address issues.

Develop and maintain scripts using Python for automation tasks related to data protection processes.

Utilize Ansible AWX for configuration management and automation of routine tasks.

Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to provide timely support for any critical incidents.

 Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Extensive experience managing Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA data protection platforms in enterprise environments.

Relevant certifications in data protection technologies are preferred.

Proficiency in performance monitoring tools like New Relic for ensuring system efficiency.

Strong scripting skills in Python for automation of data protection processes.

Experience with Ansible AWX for configuration management tasks.

 Additional Requirements:  The position will involve participation in an on-call rotation schedule to address any critical incidents outside regular business hours.
