Job Description
- Design and implement scalable data storage solutions using Snowflake
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views within the Snowflake environment
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to transform raw data into meaningful insights
- Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and configure workspaces, dashboards, and apps for business users
- Utilize Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Streams, and Tasks to automate data processing
- Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of initiatives
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering/analysis roles
- Extensive experience with Snowflake, including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and stored procedures
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning
- Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX queries, data modeling, and visualization
- Experience with star and snowflake schemas in data warehouse concepts
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques
- Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly
- Experience with Python for data analysis
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and implementation
- Experience with data migration and optimization within Snowflake
