Job Description
As an IT Operations Manager, you will oversee and guide all aspects of IT operations, working cross-functionally with technology teams, senior management, and external vendors. Your role will require strategic leadership, hands-on expertise, and an unwavering commitment to delivering reliable, cost-effective, and high-performing IT infrastructure. You will be a key contributor in shaping the future of our IT strategy and operations. Domain knowledge of Supply chain / Services & Logistics is an added plus.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive IT Experience : 15+ years of hands-on IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role in IT operations, infrastructure, and service management.
- Proven Track Record : Strong background in managing large-scale IT operations, data centers, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Technical Expertise : Deep knowledge of ITIL, DevOps practices, virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery processes.
- Strategic Thinking : Ability to conceptualize long-term plans for IT operations, build scalable systems, and innovate while keeping business objectives in focus.
- Leadership & Mentorship : Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster high-performance cultures, and coach individual team members to grow in their careers.
- Communication Skills : Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and senior management, translating technical details into business-impact language.
- Problem Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a hands-on approach to resolving complex technical issues in high-pressure environments.
- Certifications : Relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, CISM, Cloud certifications) are a strong plus but not required
