Zeeve - DevOps Engineer - Blockchain Technology (2-6 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in blockchain technology to join our innovative team.

The successful candidate will work closely with developers and architects to manage and automate the infrastructure of blockchain applications, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

You will help create a seamless and robust pipeline for blockchain development, deployment, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Blockchain Infrastructure Management : Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available blockchain infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Node Management : Set up, configure, and manage blockchain nodes, ensuring synchronization, reliability, and security.

- CI/CD for Blockchain : Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for blockchain environments, ensuring the seamless deployment of smart contracts, blockchain applications, and nodes.

- Security Best Practices : Implement security measures for blockchain systems, ensuring data integrity and protection against malicious threats, including key management, encryption, and security audits.

- Automation & Scripting : Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Monitoring & Logging : Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for blockchain nodes and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack to ensure system health, availability, and performance.

- Collaboration with Development Teams : Work closely with blockchain developers and smart contract engineers to optimize the development lifecycle, integrating tools that support testing and secure deployment of decentralized applications (dApps).

- Containerization : Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to deploy, manage, and scale blockchain applications in containerized environments.

- Incident Response & Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient recovery, particularly related to blockchain nodes or smart contracts.

- Blockchain Ecosystem Knowledge : Stay up to date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, including Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polkadot, and other protocols.

Key Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with exposure to blockchain technologies.

- Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Polkadot.

- Expertise in managing blockchain nodes and infrastructure.

- Strong understanding of cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and smart contracts.

Skills & Tools :

- Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

- Container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).

- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

- Version control tools (Git), and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.

- Monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

Soft Skills :

- Problem-solving attitude with a focus on automation and process improvement.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

- Ability to adapt to new blockchain frameworks and technologies quickly.

Nice to Have :

- Experience working with decentralized applications (dApps) or DeFi projects.

- Familiarity with smart contract development and auditing tools (Truffle, Hardhat, Remix).

- Understanding of Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g, zk-Rollups, Optimistic Rollups).

- Experience with NFT, tokenomics, or consensus protocol design.
