Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance Management:
Maintain and manage certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and ISO 3834-2.
Develop, revise, and implement new processes and procedures to improve system effectiveness.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to standards and policies.
Host and manage customer and third-party audits to demonstrate compliance.
Train and mentor staff on certification requirements and compliance processes.
Review and approve Pre-Qualification documentation.
Collaborate with global quality managers to develop and execute PRIDE initiative objectives.
Organize and minute Quarterly Management Reviews and track action plan closures.
Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
Quality Control (QC):
Act as the primary coordinator for Zeeco Indias QC activities.
Prepare, review, and approve ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and Quality Plans.
Manage quality and manufacturing documentation reviews and approvals.
Organize and coordinate global QC inspectors, including contract inspectors, for inspections across Europe, the Middle East, and other regions.
Lead a team of permanent QC Engineers and contractors, ensuring prioritization of inspection activities.
Develop inspection procedures and set acceptance criteria.
Review and address NCR trends to mitigate risks and improve quality.
Welding Compliance:
Serve as the Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC), managing weld books, WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), and qualifications.
Develop new welding procedures as required and assess welders skills for manufacturing activities.
Conduct training and development programs for welders and personnel involved in welding.
Pressure Equipment Directive (PED):
Act as the global subject matter expert (SME) for PED, PE(S)R, SANS 347, and other pressure equipment regulations.
Coordinate and organize NoBo (Notified Body) activities globally for PED compliance.
Prepare and review ESRs (Essential Safety Requirements), HAs (Hazard Analyses), PMAs (Particular Material Appraisals), and other documentation for PED compliance.
Approve and maintain technical files and vendor documentation for PED adherence.
Manufacturing Records (MRB):
Review and approve manufacturing records for Zeeco India.
Resolve issues related to manufacturing records.
Serve as the nominated signatory for declarations such as Declarations of Compliance and Certificates of Conformance.
Qualifications
Relevant degree in Engineering or Quality Management (preferred).
Formal qualifications in QC, welding, or HSE (e.g., CSWIP 3.1, PCN Level II DPE, MPI, Radiographic Interpretation).
Experience
Extensive experience in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and HSE management.
Hands-on experience in structural steel and pipework fabrication, CE marking, and PED compliance.
Background in QC engineering within manufacturing or engineering environments.
Familiarity with Euronorm and ASME construction, inspection, and welding standards.
