Senior Angular Developer

Part of a software engineering team responsible for building and operating innovative products within the Automotive sector of an Australian MNC. Our goal is to achieve engineering excellence through the utilisation of software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Software Development Lifecycle:
  • Design, code, verify, test, document, and refactor software products.
  • Apply agreed-upon standards and tools to ensure well-engineered solutions.
• Collaborative Development:
  • Participate in code reviews with other developers, architects, product managers, UI/UX designers, and testers.
  • Work together to enhance software design and quality.
• Software Design and Architecture:
  • Lead the design of moderately complex Angular applications and components, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate in designing components for larger Angular ecosystems.
  • Create multiple design views to address stakeholder needs from different perspectives.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Work independently with general direction.
  • Utilise discretion to tackle complex issues and assignments.
• Team Leadership (Potential):
  • May supervise junior team members.
  • Make decisions impacting assigned work or project phases.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Extensive experience building complex and scalable Angular applications throughout the SDLC.
• In-depth understanding of Angular core concepts (JSX, components, state management, etc.).
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and related technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
• Proficiency in Agile software delivery methodologies.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
