Job Description
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable and high-performance data pipelines on GCP, using BigQuery, DataProc, Data Flow, and GCS.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data engineering solutions, from ingestion to transformation to storage.
- Implement best practices for cost-effective and high-performing data workflows, with a strong understanding of the GCP pricing model.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of data infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, guiding them in design, development, and troubleshooting of complex data systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure timely and accurate delivery of data solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing.
Requirement:
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable data pipelines.
- Expertise in Spark , PySpark , and Python for data processing and automation.
- Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery , DataProc , Data Flow , and GCS .
- Strong understanding of high-performing, low-cost data pipelines and how the GCP pricing model works.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
- Experience with APIs and integrating data solutions with external systems.
- Good to have: Knowledge of Java for data engineering tasks.
