Job Title: Room Sales and Revenue Manager

Location: Suriname, South America

Salary: 1400 - 1600 USD In-hand (with all other perks and facilities)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Room Sales and Revenue Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, revenue management, and customer relationship building within the hospitality industry. This role is responsible for driving sales and maximizing revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with both existing and potential clients, while also supporting the operational aspects of the business.

Education & Experience:

• A 3-year bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in room sales & revenue management, with at least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Relationship Building & Sales:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new customers.
• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to expand the customer base and identify new sales opportunities.
• Engage in sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, and other activities to attract new business.
• Customer & Revenue Growth:
• Expand relationships and drive customer base growth by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
• Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management for smooth execution of bookings.
• Gain a deep understanding of the location's primary target customer, their business needs, and offer tailored solutions.
• Market Knowledge & Competitor Analysis:
• Keep track of overall market trends, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand.
• Closely monitor the locations market conditions to close the best opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
• Operational Support & Service Excellence:
• Support and execute the operational aspects of business booked, ensuring smooth coordination with other departments.
• Drive customer loyalty by delivering exceptional service, adhering to the company’s customer service standards.
• Set a positive example for guest relations and interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Revenue Maximization:
• Support the company’s revenue strategy to ensure the best pricing and booking practices are adhered to.
• Ensure timely and effective handling of booking requests and customer inquiries.
