Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language and the ability to teach students effectively across different levels. This role involves delivering high-quality lessons, developing innovative teaching materials, and fostering a love for language learning among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:

1. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in English language and communication skills to students.
2. Teach grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, and verbal communication to improve students proficiency in English.
3. Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assignments aligned with the curriculum.
4. Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and classroom participation.
5. Conduct remedial sessions for students requiring additional support.

Curriculum Development:

1. Design and update course materials and syllabi to reflect current language trends and industry requirements.
2. Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies and technology to enhance the learning experience.
3. Develop language lab activities and exercises to improve practical skills.

Student Engagement:

1. Mentor and guide students in academic and career-related goals.
2. Organize workshops, debates, and presentations to enhance students’ confidence and language fluency.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.

Professional Development:

1. Stay updated with the latest advancements in language teaching and learning.
2. Attend training programs, seminars, and workshops to enhance teaching methodologies.
3. Contribute to departmental meetings and initiatives aimed at improving academic standards.

Administrative Duties:

1. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
2. Assist in organizing language-related events such as literary festivals, speech competitions, and language clubs.
3. Support institutional goals through participation in committees and extracurricular activities.
