Job Title : Master Data Management (MDM) Manager

Job Summary :

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our master data strategy.

The successful candidate will oversee data governance, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and optimize the utilization of master data across the organization.

This role requires a collaborative leader capable of working cross-functionally with business and IT teams to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

- Develop and implement a robust Master Data Management strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.

- Define and maintain MDM standards, policies, and procedures.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize MDM initiatives that deliver business value.

Data Governance and Quality :

- Establish and enforce data governance policies, processes, and standards.

- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for data quality and accuracy.

- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies across systems.

System and Process Management :

- Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of MDM tools and platforms (e., Informatica, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere).

- Ensure seamless integration of MDM solutions with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.

- Lead MDM system upgrades and enhancements to meet business needs.

Compliance and Risk Management :

- Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations (e., GDPR, CCPA).

- Identify and mitigate risks related to data mismanagement or breaches.

Analysis and Reporting :

- Generate actionable insights from master data to support business decisions.

- Provide regular reports on MDM performance, data quality, and governance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills :

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5-10 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality roles.

- Proven track record in managing MDM tools and platforms such as Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere, or similar systems.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of MDM principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality management.

- Proficiency in database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data integration tools (ETL processes).

- Experience in integrating MDM solutions with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across business and IT functions.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).

- Project Management Professional (PMP).

- Certifications in MDM tools or data governance frameworks.
