Front-end Developer

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our IT Development and operations at the Kochi office, focusing on front-end application development and maintenance of our in-house built online application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Redesign and enhance the current in-house developed online system.
• Collaborate with Full-Stack/Back-end developers to deliver high-quality products within tight deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and competitor activities.
• Contribute to enhancing functionality across the Torrens Group of Companies.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent experience.
• Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer, delivering creative and functional solutions in dynamic environments.
• Strong interest in UI design, interactions, and knowledge of the latest design and development trends.
• Proficiency in XSLT, Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of React is preferred.
• Strong artistic eye with the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of typography, layout, color, and grid structures.
• Ability to quickly switch between tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
