WordPress Designer - Internship with Full Time Offer

We are looking to hire for the position of Junior WordPress Developer. You would start as an intern in this position with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position should you complete your internship and prove valuable as an addition to the company.

During your internship, you will be responsible for WordPress website design including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and all associated aspects of go-live.

At the end of your internship, you will receive a recommendation letter stating the completion and your performance during internship as well as an offer to join our organization as a full time employee in the same role, should you choose to stay back with us.

Our ideal candidate would therefore be comfortable operating in the WordPress environment, using the various GUI theme builders and come with a good eye for aesthetics, strong content management skills. Naturally, a good grasp over HTML, CSS and some understanding of JavaScript and/or jQuery would help.
Key Skills Required

• Solid understanding of WordPress and experience in developing basic to more interactive sites
• Strong HTML and CSS knowledge
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, enough for simple interactions
• Has own portfolio of sites/projects either built for clients or for personal practice

Candidates having past work examples or site portfolios will be strongly favored and fast tracked through the selection process.
Selection Process

Candidates shortlisted based on their CV and application shall receive a quick phone call to gauge their suitability to the role. Those who pass the cold call round can receive another phone call to check on their past work experience and knowledge set. Finally an interview in person would be necessary before final verdict and selection.
