Role & responsibilities :

Costing & Pricing:

• Develop detailed cost analysis for automotive engineering projects
• Create and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
• Analyze and mitigate cost risks, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.

Business Planning:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual and long-term business plans.
• Provide data-driven financial forecasts and identify key business drivers to influence strategic decisions.
• Support investment analysis for new projects, product launches, and market expansion.

RFQ Management:

• Review and evaluate RFQ documents and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Track and manage RFQ timelines and deliverables

Automotive Engineering Integration:

• Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical specifications, production processes.
• Analyze engineering changes and financial impact

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Present financial insights, pricing strategies, and cost breakdowns.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners.
• Act as a liaison between finance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration.

Preferred candidate profile :

• CA/CWA along with bachelors or masters degree in automotive engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
• 13+ years of experience in costing, pricing, or business planning within the automotive or engineering industry.
• Certification in financial analysis, cost accounting, or project management

Desired: Certification in Financial Analysis, Cost Accounting or Project Management
