The Power BI /SSAS/Azure ADF Senior Software expert who will be providing technical expertise through BI developments in general using SSAS, Power BI, PowerBI Services in an Azure context. He/She provides inputs & vision to SSAS and Power BI standards and guidelines. He/She performs activities of BI architecture definition, design, development, unit testing, deployment and short-term warranty support. He/She also supports deployed integrations as a Level 2 /L3 support member. The role demands to lead by example, by demonstrating a positive attitude and team focus and by sharing knowledge and expertise with team Key responsibilities.

• Qualifications and Requirements
• Essential qualifications
• Bachelors degree, M. Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience on Visualization tools, ETL applications or Software Development projects, working with the business users to analyse and solve their data requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with the Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with Power BI /SSAS/Azure ADF technologies.

Technology

• Expert in Data modelling and must be good in either data engineering or data visualizations.
• Proficient in making advance SQL queries.
• Able to convert business requirements into an Industry-standard data model with all best practices.
• Building Analysis Services reporting models (Cubes).
• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Must be aware of Azure DevOps Gits functionality, and CICD.
• Should have knowledge of managing Git branches.
• Azure Analysis services, PowerBI, Azure DW,
• PowerBI administration
• Eventually other Microsoft tools like SSIS and Azure ADF.
• Strong Data Warehousing skills are required
• Provide troubleshooting & diagnostic support at L2 / L3 level for the mentioned technologies in multiple time zones
• Strong understanding of Data Modelling & Star Schema concepts, data flow, and data governance and data structures.
• Should be comfortable with Performance improvement using Azure technologies and on-premise Microsoft technologies
• Build re-usable unit test documents and track into QA tools
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues
• Follow best practices in terms of development, unit testing, continuous integration, code documentation
• Perform Project technical audit and reviews and implement efficiency
• Provide input and implement solutions to drive the continuous improvement of the development and support teams
• Should have exp in dealing with data sources like SQL Data warehouse, Azure storage account, SharePoint, and REST API.
• Exp in Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
• Must have In-depth understanding for ADF.

External Presence

• Engage with Vendors and 3rd Party application support team wherever required
• Engage with internal IT Support team

Qualifications and Requirements Essential qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Having 5-7 years of hands on experience in BI tools and technologies.
• Azure Analysis services,
• PowerBI, PowerBI administration
• Eventually other Microsoft tools like Power BI, Data modelling, SSIS and Azure ADF, ETL technologies.
