Senior Backend Engineer Job

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced senior AWS Cloud Developer proficient in Java and skilled in utilizing Powertools for AWS Lambda. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation and AWS SAM, and be adept at pipeline automation using Azure DevOps, Makefiles, and bash scripting. Familiarity with NoSQL databases and data modeling for DynamoDB is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda with Powertools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using CloudFormation and AWS SAM.
• Automate deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Makefiles, and bash scripting.
• Design and model NoSQL databases, specifically for DynamoDB.
• Work with the serverless stack, including:
• AWS Lambda (standard and container-based functions)
• DynamoDB
• CloudFront
• AWS WAF
• AWS KMS
• VPC
• AWS Backup

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JAVA + AWS programming.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and Powertools.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and AWS SAM.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for pipeline automation.
• Experience in using Makefiles and bash scripting for automation tasks.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and data modeling, particularly with DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS services including CloudFront, AWS WAF, AWS KMS, VPC, and AWS Backup.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
