The key outcomes expected from one in this role would be:
Conducting energy Audits in process industries implementing whichincludes collection and analysis of all relevant data pertaining to theefficiency of the steam and condensate recovery system.
Identifying the potential for reducing utility consumption by means ofvarious energy conservation proposals.
Estimation of financial investment required for the recommended energyconservation proposals along with payback and prioritization of proposals withshort term and long term benefits.
Providing technical support during implementation process, trackingproject performance post implementation of energy conservation measures anddocumentation of actual savings achieved.
Estimating financial investment required for the recommended energyconservation proposals along with payback and prioritization of proposals withshort term and long term benefits.
Keeping abreast of the latest developments in environmental legislation.
Requirements
-A Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with minimum 10 Years of experience of conducting detailed energy audits
-A degree in B.Tech /B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics
-Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Proficiency in the use of computerized preventative maintenance systems and data analysis is preferred
-Excellent organizational and analytical skills
-Demonstrated excellent teamwork skills in past positions
