Cyber Security & IT Infra - Junior

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Support:

• Assist in expanding Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure services for the Yamaha Motor Group by supporting strategy development.
• Research market needs and client requirements to help define potential opportunities for new business.

Cybersecurity Management:

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of a Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor and respond to security incidents.
• Perform Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on IT infrastructure components such as servers, network devices, and firewalls.
• Assist in implementing and managing advanced security tools, including EDR/XDR solutions.
• Support the cybersecurity team in conducting security assessments to ensure compliance with international standards and best practices.

Technical Support:

• Collaborate with senior team members to design and implement secure IT infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to the development and execution of security strategies, ensuring the protection of client systems and data.

Client Engagement:

• Assist in presales activities, including preparing presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
• Support team efforts in building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients, ensuring their cybersecurity needs are met effectively.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with senior cybersecurity professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to maintaining a collaborative, innovative, and efficient team environment.

Required Skills Qualifications

Educational Background:

• B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA with a focus on Cybersecurity.

xperience:

• 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Hands-on exposure to cybersecurity tools and practices is a plus (e.g., Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, EDR/XDR solutions).

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including VAPT, network security, and IT infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions is beneficial.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in cybersecurity.
